Visiting this website
When you visit this website, our server stores your IP address and technical details of the access in log files. We need them to deliver the website, to keep it running and to defend against attacks; this is our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The log files are deleted after eight weeks at the latest.
Enquiries
If you send us an enquiry through the form, by email or by telephone, we process your details to deal with and answer it. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where you yourself wish to enter into a contract with us, and otherwise our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The form requires your name, your message and your email address or telephone number; without them we cannot reply.
We delete enquiries once they have been dealt with. If an enquiry leads to an order, we keep the records for as long as commercial and tax law requires, usually six to ten years (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR, Section 257 of the German Commercial Code, Section 147 of the German Fiscal Code).
Cookie and browser storage
This website sets only one session cookie, plumbary_anfrage. It stores your product selection for an enquiry and is deleted when you send the enquiry or clear the selection. Your browser keeps unfinished form entries for that tab only; they do not leave your device until you send the form. Both are strictly necessary for the functions you use and need no consent (Section 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG, the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act); the legal basis is our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Recipients
Your data is received by our hosting provider and our email provider, which process it on our behalf in Germany (Art. 28 GDPR), and, if an order results, by the parties needed to fulfil it, such as carriers, our bank and our tax adviser. If you are enquiring from a country outside the EU and the EEA, we send our reply and, where applicable, the order documents there. If there is no adequacy decision by the European Commission for that country, we base this on Art. 49(1)(b) or (c) GDPR.
Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability (Art. 15 to 20 GDPR), and you can lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR).
Your right to object
Where we process your data on the basis of our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), you can object to it at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR).
